Transportation in Los Angeles County can be coined as busy and crowded. The congested freeway is patrolled by the California Highway Patrol. There are also several major highways, air, train, sea and local transportation buses to help visitors and residents get around the county.
Los Angeles County would be nothing without its vast industries. They are international trade, motion picture and television production, music recording, aerospace, law and medicine. We all have heard of the major companies within the entertainment industry that are located here. 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros. and Walt Disney are just a few.
When it comes to education, no one has more choices for schools than Los Angeles County. There are several colleges and universities like Pepperdine, California State University-Long Beach, Fuller Theological Seminary, Santa Monica College, and a list of many others. Griffith Park is worth visiting when you choose Los Angeles County for a vacation destination. Santa Monica Pier was featured in the show Three’s Company. There are museums, the Staples Center, lakes for fishing, Dodger Stadium and Whiskey a Go Go, made famous by The Doors. The major attraction is Six Flags Magic Mountain followed by Hurricane Harbor and Universal Studios Hollywood.
