Campus The Palladium Technical Academy is located in the city of El Monte in California. The academy offers financial aid options, a student services department with orientation, carpooling info, photo id’s, childcare referrals, an area to purchase school supplies, the school newspaper and career assistance. With the department, there is help for prospective students, current and retuning students and graduates. The school’s campus trains students for rewarding careers in some of the industries most in demand careers. Courses At the technical academy students have a choice of six career driven programs. They are medical clinical assistant, medical billing specialist, medical administrative assistant, vocational nursing, microcomputer, networking, and computer graphics/desktop publishing. Both medical assistant programs and the specialist program offer externships and employment preparation before graduation. Each program teaches medical fundamentals, business, and medical office basics. Vocational nursing offers pre graduates hands on clinical training with hospitals and clinical sites. The microcomputer and networking program allows students to work with hubs, routers and switches plus computer applications like Word, Excel, and Access. Students who take the computer graphics and desktop publishing program learn newspaper and magazine layouts, logo designs and flyers to create their own portfolio. At the Palladium Technical Academy, the training is hands on with real job equipment in career atmospheres. The end result is graduates who have the skills that employers want.
