About the College

Citrus College is one of the oldest Community colleges in Los Angeles and it is the fifth oldest college in the state. The college was established in 1915 and now of today the college is a 104-acre school campus. Therefore, over the years the school has developed into one of the best colleges. When the college first started, it out it only had 27 students and now today the school is proud to serve over 11,000 students. The school has a wide variety of classes to take and is in a 16-week span. The school strives to help their students do their best and help them on their way for the future. The teachers at the college are always finding the best and easy ways to help their students succeed.

Campus

Citrus College does not offer on campus housing but there is local housing off campus. For international students they have a program for housing where you live with American families. This can help you to make new friends and also help learn the English language. The campus has local stores and restaurants nearby to help serve you. The campus has a wonderful library, which is great for studying. They also have exam rooms where the students do their testing. They have a nice large computer lab for you to do research. The campus also offers tutoring for their students. The campus also offers a bookstore for you to get all the books you need.

Courses

Citrus College is a college of no matter what you study they have it. They a wide range of classes from Theater to Accounting. If you are looking for more than that, then check out the Administration of Justice course. They also have courses like Cosmetology, Dance, Counseling, Dental Assistant, Scientist and so much more. Citrus College offers such a wide variety of courses that you are sure to find the future career for you.
