Campus

Temple City, California is the location for the campus and salon for United Beauty College, UBC. The college does offer financial aid to those who qualify. At the salon members of the community can come in for a haircut, color, manicure, pedicure, facial or massage done by students who have achieved the level for on the floor work. The students are supervised by professionals. This gives students the opportunity to work on their customer service skills by setting up appointments and building a clientele.

Courses

UBC offers courses in the following programs: nail technician, cosmetologist, esthetician and massage therapist. Each program has a required number of clocked worked hours with the least being nail technician with 400 and the cosmetologist program has the most with 1600 hours. Nail technician focuses on manicures, pedicures and clinical training leading to a state license. The cosmetologist program teaches all things beauty with hair, nails, facials, anatomy and clinical training.

Esthetician is a program focused on skin care, facials, temporary hair removal and procedures performed on the public. Massage therapy can take graduates into careers in chiropractic offices, doctor’s offices or day spas. UBC can train you to be a leader in the beauty industry and prepare you for a rewarding future.
