Patient care has been what students have studied for in the last century at Southern California University. Established in 1911 and located in Whittier, California on a 38 acres campus students enjoy a quiet atmosphere and still be close to the large city. This University was the first to offer a Standardized patient program where actors act as patients for them to work on. About our campus This is the first university to have a student-tended herb garden on campus. They offer many recreational activities to their students outside the classroom that they enjoy. This includes theatre, dance, art, music, sports, dining, shopping, celebrity spotting and much more. This helps the students recharge to get back into studying. On campus, activities include volleyball, basketball, flag football, soccer, and softball. They really enjoy the Chiro games. This is where everyone from all the chiropractic schools competes against each other throughout the country. They also have on campus a weight room, jogging track basketball courts as well as tennis and volleyball courts. They also hold different events for the community. These include educating the community about health wellness and raise funds for charitable causes. There is no housing on campus but they have a board where they list houses for rent and apartments for students. About our courses The main courses students take are nutrition and exercise therapy.
