CBD College, Community Based Education Development, has been on the map since 1982. The school has been an accredited part of the education system since 1997 and they have been going strong ever since. The college is non-profit with a mission to train students to become a productive and successful part of the community. The training at CBD is unbeatable with hands on professional education tools and state of the art equipment. Courses CBD offers three programs with the most in demand industries in the job market today. They are vocational nursing, Associate of Applied Science in vocational nursing and surgical technology. These programs are in high demand in the medical field and community. Vocational nursing trains students to work entry-level positions in hospitals and clinics while the Associate of Applied Science takes those who are vocational nurses and prepares them to provide direct patient care. Surgical Technology is a 1,500-hour program with skills taught to work in that field. The college offers job placement assistance upon graduation.
