About the college
San Diego Christian College combines liberal arts education with the bible, religious beliefs and morals to live by. The college was founded by doctors Tim LaHaye, Art Peters and Henry Morris in 1970. All wanted an institution where students could learn quality education for their minds and hearts. 3 years later and the first degrees were given and today the college is still going strong. Religion and education bonded and have produced graduates with the sense of the bible and education that lasts a lifetime. Campus In southern California prospective and currents students of San Diego Christian College, SDCC, will find the campus in the city of El Cajon. The campus is close to beaches, mountains and deserts. There are many outdoor activities for all the students to enjoy. The college can be accessed from many major freeways and students can travel to the nearby city of San Diego where there are restaurants, shopping centers, museums, concerts, a zoo and many other cultural activities. Students on campus are offered a chapel, career services, counseling and student ministries. Courses At SDCC, students can take courses in biblical studies, communication, English, history/social science, human development, interdisciplinary studies, music and psychology. Students can earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in any one of these fields. A Bachelor of Science degree can be achieved in aviation, biology, business, business management, kinesiology and liberal studies. The college also offers adult professional studies in business management, human development, Christian ministries and a teaching credential program. At SDCC, the education that students receive teaches leaderships skills within a religious atmosphere so that upon graduation they can go on to a rewarding career choice or church ministries all over the world. Education is a life long process and religion and education do go hand and hand.
