The Institute for Business and Technology, or IBT, is a hands-on learning center where they put their students first. Campus

In Santa Clara, California, students can find the campus for the Institute for Business and Technology. The campus is located in the heart of Silicon Valley in a 60,000 square foot facility. For students close to graduation or those that have already completed their degree program the institute offers job placement services. The school has an updated file of local employers for graduates to seek employment with. With the service, graduates get help in preparing resumes, cover letters and interview skills. The career training at the Institute for Business and Technology prepares students for a rewarding and successful career in their chosen field.

Courses

At IBT, there are five programs with fields of study for students to pursue. The school offers programs in commercial refrigeration, heating and A/C, electrician, lab assistant, EKG tech/phlebotomist, medical assistant and medical biller/coder or office specialist. Each program can give graduates the opportunity to work in entry-level positions in the workforce. With the lab assistant, medical assistant and medical biller programs students have the opportunity to be a part of externships where students get to train in a real world job environment after the required coursework.
