About the college
The Center for Employment Training in San Diego is a private educational institution. The school is a not for profit college with a dedication to its student’s success. The college has a majority of male students and the students are a mix of first time freshmen and adults furthering their education and skills. Admissions to CET-San Diego are on an open basis where students can obtain the education they need without fully applying to the school. Campus The campus is located in the state of California in the beautiful and entertaining city of San Diego. The campus offers students employment services as well as job placement upon graduation. There is even career counseling while students attend classes at the school. Market Street is the location of the campus. CET students have the ability to learn 5 days a week with 7 hours a day of hands on education. A score of 70 percent has to be achieved in a given job field for students to pass then they are on to the competitive job market for a rewarding successful career. Courses The courses at CET are training classes that are quite flexible. They offer open enrollment and exit, year round admissions and no consistent semesters. The vocational programs offered are building maintenance, electronic assembly and welding. The classes are usually conducted over a 7 month period. The San Diego CET also offers GED classes and English as a Second Language courses. The students are in training to learn basic job skills and other aspects of a good work ethic. In addition, students are in training courses until they get a job. CET is a school dedicated to helping the community by teaching students the vital skills that they need to succeed.
