About the college
California Western School of law is an independent school looking to shape and produce some of the best lawyers in the state. They want their students to become critical thinking lawyers with superior and creative problem solving skills. The school was founded in 1924 and has since been part of creating the best advocates for communities around California and the world. The school was accredited in 1962 by the Bar Association and 5 years later, it was a leading member in the Association of American Law Schools. Campus The campus for the California Western School of Law has the best location. The school is located in San Diego and that gives students great education with a beautiful city that has amazing entertainment venues and other popular attractions. California Western School of Law wants the best for its future lawyers and so they offer career services, counseling and a pro bono honors program for the community. Courses The school utilized the J.D. curriculum program that gives students first year and upper class courses to aid them in their law education. There are seven areas of law in which a student can master their skills. Those include child/family/elder law, creative problem solving, criminal justice, health law and policy, intellectual property/telecommunications/technology regulation, international law and labor/employment law. California Western School of Law also has three dual degree programs and one joint master’s program. Students can join academic programs that offer study abroad programs, clinical internships and summer programs. The school of law takes its courses very seriously as their graduates can and will one day help those in need.
