Campus

InterCoast College in Burbank, California has the benefits of a beautiful with the academic greatness of what the college offers. At Burbank, students are part of small classes, usually less than 20, that gives teachers the opportunity to work with students individually and in small groups. Having a small class size encourages group discussion too. The training at InterCoast prepares students for entry-level careers within the top industry fields. Hands-on training gives students an accurate look into the job market that they will be facing in just months.

Courses

At the Burbank campus, students can choose from career programs that offer internships once the required coursework has been completed. Talk about hands on. Externships get students into their chosen career field by working side by side with professionals in the community. Programs with externships include medical assistant, medical administrative assistant, alcohol and drug counseling, pharmacy tech, massage therapy, paralegal and computerized accounting. The externships can have students working in local hospital or clinics called clinical rotations or even in law offices.

Each program has a required amount of worked hours, both classroom and externship if offered, that a student must complete before graduating.
