About the College
Simpson University was known as Simpson Bible when it was founded in 1921 by W.W. Newberry. New berry was also the Universities first president. The school moved to San Francisco in 1955 and then the name was changed to Simpson Bible College and was now offering bachelor’s degrees. Over the years, it continued to grow and offer more and more classes and in 1971, it was known as a more liberal arts college, which offered professional as well as Bible studies to their students. Simpson Bible College was renamed to Simpson University in 1971 as well. About the campus Simpson University offers on campus housing and meals. The dorms each have a Resident assistant everyone called RA and they oversee the floor and you go to them with any problems. You will soon become a family. Each floor has its own fun activities such as bon fires, movie nights, and also has a prayer night, Plus much more and also outdoor activities. The cafeteria has a variety of different meals for different tastes including vegetarian. The cafeteria also is the host to a few specials dinners such as Fine Dining Night and Breakfast at Midnight. There are also 250 on campus jobs for students who need extra money. There is a curfew to follow so speak to your RA and see what the times are for your dorm. About the courses The majors that are taken at Simpson University are Liberal Arts, Business, Therapy, Religion, Media, Music and mathematics just to name a few. Simpson University has many, many courses and there are too many to list all of them, but you can call the school or visit the website for the total list.
