About the college

In 1888, the educational system welcomed Santa Barbara Business College to its community. The school started as a normal institute, which is one, that trained teachers at the turn of the century and today the school is still going strong with its curriculum dedicated to the business field. In the recent years, the Santa Barbara College added programs in allied health, information technology, paralegal and criminal justice. The school has close ties with the community and local business employers.

Campus

Santa Barbara Business College is located in Santa Maria, California. This campus opened its doors in 1980 to get residents in northern Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County the quality education that they deserved. On campus, students have computer labs, medical labs, a learning resource center and a massage therapy studio. The student services at the college include job placement services like resume preparation and cover letters and also externship programs.
