The college is a training facility with the highest standards for post secondary education. Their goal is to exceed the state requirements for licensure and they have done this for the past 50 years. There are 11 instructors and all total they have 273 years of excellent training and experience between them. There is a salon on the grounds that serve not only the students but the public as well. They have several different non-profit organizations they give back to in the community. They have a Cut-athon where all proceeds go to Missing and exploited Children and then they have a silent auction where proceeds go to the local Hospice. In December, they adopted a family for Christmas. There is no on campus housing or meal plan.
