About the college

Beauty Colleges have been in high demand since women and men came to the realization that haircuts, colors, styles, nails and skin car procedures can make you look and feel good. While women are in salons more men do get their haircut and some even get manicures and pedicures. Thanks to Ruth Maurer and her good sense to open the Marinello Schools of Beauty we have a place to go to learn and get made over. The school was founded in 1905 and its communities of schools can be found in California, Nevada and 3 other states at 41 campuses.

Campus

The Lake Forest beauty college location showcases students work on the streets of California. At the campus salon students who have finished the required classroom work move out onto the salon floor and perform beauty applications on the community with professional supervision. Here students get hands on job training with people who may very well become a client of theirs one day. It is a great way to teach networking, customer service skills and learn how to schedule appointments and business related skills.

Courses

At the Lake Forest campus students can choose from cosmetology, manicuring, and esthetics programs. Each program has a required number of clocked worked hours in order to be licensed or receive certificates of completion. The cosmetology programs offer a general cosmetology course as well as a course that focuses on the barbering field and facial hair sculpting.

Marinello School of Beauty has a great location, dedicated professional faculty, and career driven programs in the beauty field. There is no place else to go when you want a career as a hair stylist, manicurist, skin care specialist, barber or salon owner.
