About the college

InterCoast Colleges have been on the education map for 23 years. The school is dedicated to training students for entry-level positions in electrical, medical, legal, business, computer, and technology fields. Campus

In Orange, California, there is an InterCoast College campus. Financial aid is available through Pell Grants, Parent Loans, subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans, and other various loan programs. The college offers student advice, computer labs and graduate employment services. With this service graduates can network with local employers, learn how to write a resume and cover letter and work on their interview skills.

Courses

At the InterCoast Orange campus, students can choose from a variety of programs that are based upon the leading industries. Each program requires a number of clocked worked hours and credits. The programs offered are medical assistant, administrative medical assistant, alcohol, and drug counseling studies, pharmacy tech, massage therapy, paralegal specialist, legal office assistant, business technology/administration, computerized accounting, and electrical training program.

The program with the highest amount of clocked hours is legal office assistant with 930. The next highest is 900 hours and that is shared by the medical assistant, paralegal specialist and electrical training programs. The addiction professional education program has the least amount of hours required with only 600. These programs can lead graduates to successful careers as a pharmacy technician, massage therapist, or work as a medical assistant in a hospital or clinic.
