About the College
Heald College is going on 150 years and still going strong. The college has 11 campuses over the western part of the United States. Heald College was started in San Francisco in California and has grown from there. Heald College has a focus on giving their students the best learning possible. The college has such a big passion about their students that they offer them the help to get started and the help in finding a job after graduation to get them started in life. They want to make sure their students are prepared for where they are headed in life.
Campus
Heald College Rancho Cordova offers a 46,000 square foot campus that offers free parking and public transportation for students who do not drive. Comfortable classrooms, Learning Center with Library and Computer Labs, free e-mail and internet access and a bookstore that is right on campus for all the students to work easy and successful. The campus does not offer on campus housing but there are apartments and houses near the campus that students can rent while attending college. They also offer students financial aid and counseling to help students get the money for college and also to help them get started on a degree. The campus also offers job placement after graduation.
Courses
Business, Legal, Technology, and Healthcare are have some of the best jobs around as of today. Technology programs include Network Security and Network Systems Administration. The Legal Programs include Criminal Justice and Paralegal. The Business Programs include Office Skills, Business Administration, Construction Management, and Accounting. Healthcare Programs include Pharmacy Technology, Medical Office Administration, Medical Assisting and Medical Insurance Billing and Coding. Each campus offers a different variety of degrees to get.
