About the college

Everest College is part of post-secondary education company called Corinthian Colleges, Inc., or CCI. This company is one of the largest for profit institutions in the US and Canada. There are CCI campuses located throughout the US and Canada in various cities. Everest College- Hayward is a school dedicated to training its students with career-based programs. The skills learned can take graduates to whatever career that they choose in the high demand industries within the community.

Campus

Hayward campus pairs real world job training with shared life experiences by the faculty. The classrooms are large in size and the students are grouped together for a more intimate learning experience that can sometimes involve one on one student training. The classrooms are meant to resemble the workforce and the jobs that students may one day possess. The Hayward campus is 20,000 square feet with labs, a library and student lounge.

While in school, students receive unbeatable education and services that are there beyond graduation. Once graduated there are career placement services that can help with resume preparation, interview skills, and employer networking.

Courses

The Hayward campus offers 4 career programs. The massage therapy program teaches business, ethics, Swedish massage, technique and health and wellness. Students can also study to become a medical administrative assistant with skills in medical terminology and medical law and ethics. Medical assisting can lead graduates into careers as a clinical or administrative assistant, medical receptionist or insurance biller. Medical insurance billing and coding is a program where students are taught insurance coding skills and administrative duties that can lead to careers in clinics, a doctor’s office, or medical billing agency.
