About the college
Design’s School is an accredited teacher of salon and spa education. The school is dedicated to helping students achieve their dreams in the beauty field and the successful and rewarding careers ahead of them. After graduation, students can go on to working in a salon as a cosmetologist, esthetician, or manicurist or open up their own salon. Design’s School offers its students state of the art equipment with hands on training to reach their goals. Campus The campus for the Design’s School of Cosmetology is located in Paso Robles, California. The location for the campus is located 1 mile west of US 101. Students get their training in a salon set up where they can actually work on clients from the community. This gives students the ultimate hands on training environment to become professionals in their chosen field. The students perform various beauty procedures all while being closely guarded by instructors. Courses Design’s School of Cosmetology has three beauty programs for its students to choose from. They are cosmetology, skin care and nail technician. The cosmetology program requires 1600-clocked hours in order to complete it. This program has the most amount of hours for completion and students learn all of the elements involved with hair, skin, and nails. The skin care program takes 600-clocked hours in order to graduate. Students learn skin anatomy and the basic skin care regimens. The last program offered is nail technician and that particular program has the least amount of hours to complete with 400. Being a school of cosmetology makes Design’s a leader in the beauty field. Students get to make over people in the community while preparing themselves for a lifetime and profitable career.
