CET Salinas is an institution that provides its students with a private educational experience that they can take into the job market. The school, founded in the 1820’s, is known for its programs in medical administration and office and administration. CET is also quite popular with courses that involve education with trades like those found in the construction field. The school markets itself towards low income people that desire the skills needed to succeed in the competitive and ever changing job market.

Campus

CET is a trade school located in Salinas. The city is moderately sized, but still promotes high standards of education. The school has an open admission with the majority of the students being from out of state. CET has a population that includes first time students to adults who are wishing to continue and further their education. The campus does not offer on site housing or meal plans, but has a beautiful city for its background. Salinas is less than half an hour from the coast and has amazing entertainment venues.

Courses

CET, or Center for Employment Training, offers its student’s classes that can kick start their careers. The school offers programs in the administrative and secretarial field, transportation, computer science, building and construction/management and medical office. Degrees are offered in business and management, data processing and other fields of interest. CET has less than 1 year and less than 2 year certificate programs for its students to achieve. Business Office Technology, Computer Office Occupations, and Custodial Services are available with the certificates offered by CET.
