About the college

CET- Riverside is one of the schools under the CET umbrella. These schools are designed to help the communities that are on the low income side. This gives the residents a school that can train them with job related skills to increase their future financial situations. CET is a private not for profit institution that focuses on the in demand jobs within the community. The skills are taught through hands on instruction and real world training in the job fields available at CET- Riverside.

Campus

CET has a campus in the large city of Riverside in the state of California. Training here gives students hands on coursework that will prepare them for the job market. Students can train up until they are offered and accept a job. The student body at CET- Riverside is a diverse group of people. The majority are from out of state and male with some being high school graduates or the equivalent. Others are adults wishing to continue their education to start or enhance a current career goal.

Courses

The courses at Riverside are designed to produce graduates of the most desired and sought after careers within the community. The degrees at Riverside are offered within less than 2 year programs to complete. The programs offered include machine shop technology, machine tool technology, precision metal working, and welding. Graduates can go on to exciting careers as machine shop assistants and welders or even open up a shop of their own.
