About the college

California State University Stanislaus is a diverse university with a family like presence. They value each and every student and have a caring and highly educated faculty. The public university is student sized and has the ability to treat its campus like a private one. It can focus on each student’s needs and skills to help them achieve the best education possible. The school started out in 1957 with classes first held at the fairgrounds in 1960. It moved to its permanent location in 1965 and then 20 years later it was rewarded with university status and received the name that it is known by today.

The campus of Stanislaus University is located in the city of Turlock in California. The facilities at Stanislaus are modern with a charm that other schools just can not compete with. The campus is located in the heart of Central Valley on 228 acres of land. The Turlock community has a low crime rate and is small town with big dreams. The campus is a short drive to the San Francisco Bay Area and Sierra Nevada Mountain range.

Courses

Stanislaus offers courses to students who are from all different educational paths. First time Freshmen, transfers, international students, returning students, graduates and adults wishing to continue their education can all find a place at the university. The school offers majors, minors and programs. They also have graduate schools and extended education courses.
