About the college

For over 40 years West Valley College, WVC, has been preparing students for their futures and careers. Campus

WVC is located in Saratoga, California. The college can be found on the west side of the Silicon Valley at the foothills of The Santa Cruz Mountains. The city of Saratoga is close enough to the city San Francisco and all of its charm and there are local attractions around every corner of California. On the campus, there is a variety of labs for students to use like a court reporting lab, foreign language lab and a computer assisted writing center.

Courses

At West Valley College offers a variety of departments for students to train in. They are applied arts and sciences, business, career programs, fine arts, an honors program, language arts, library skills, physical education, science and mathematics and social science. The career programs include various fields of study in the workforce’s most in demand industries. They include architecture, computer applications, desktop publishing, interior design, paralegal and park management to name a few.
