The Walter Jay M.D. Institute was founded in 1994 to enrich their student’s lives with quality career education. At the institute, students are given real world training skills so that they can make a difference in the community and their lives. The mission is simple. The Walter Jay M.D. Institute provides skills and language education so that upon graduation you can earn an entry-level position in the career that you have always wanted. Campus The educational center is located in the thriving and always entertaining city of Los Angeles. LA is a city that has creativity around every corner and numerous job opportunities at every turn. The education is practical, hands on and meant to mimic real world job environments. Students do get career services at the campus that include interview, resume and job search workshops. Courses The programs offered at Walter Jay give students the skills that they need to succeed in the competitive job market. Students can choose from vocational nurse training, massage therapy, English as a Second language course, medical assisting and a computerized office management program. The nursing program takes 1560 hours to complete and graduates can work in nursing homes and clinics. Massage therapy is a 720-hour program with a variety of options for work upon graduation. Medical assisting is also a 720-hour program and the outlook is great for those who specialize in this field. Office management takes 720 hours to complete and uses computers. English as a Second Language has 4 modules of learning for students to achieve. Walter Jay can be the start to your future.
