About the college

Maric College now has a new name. It is called Kaplan College, but the commitment to quality education is still the same. At Kaplan, students can prepare themselves for a career change or a brand new career in the industries most in demand job fields. The college brings hands on training to students with equipment that is used in their chosen careers. The learning environment mirrors the job atmosphere so when students graduate and go into the workforce there are no surprises.

Campus

The Clovis campus has an amazing location in between the cities of LA and San Francisco. 21,000 square feet encompass the large campus that sits at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The campus is surrounded by national parks and local Clovis attractions. Students can enjoy the farmer’s market each Friday during the Summer and the Clovis Rodeo. At the campus, there are a variety of student services. The college offers housing assistance, financial aid, and tutoring and career services.

Courses

At the Fresno campus in the city of Clovis students have the option to choose from 2 career driven programs. One is allied health with 3 diploma programs, dental assistant, medical assistant and medical office specialist. In the criminal justice field, students can earn an associate of arts degree. With the dental assistant program, students can work as a chair side assistant and learn the basics of the field. With the medical assistant program, graduates can move on to exciting careers as a school health aide, clinical lab aide, or front office assistant manager. Medical office specialist digs deeper into the medical field and the available career choices.

Criminal justice keeps order within communities with careers in loss prevention and homeland security. With Kaplan College, you and your future are in good hands.
