About the college
Back in September 1949 Los Angeles Valley College opened its doors for the first time. Class size was moderate and the classes were taught in bungalows. Located in San Fernando Valley gave the school the means to move to allow for its growing student body and in 1951, the school settled into its permanent campus location on Fulton Avenue. With a rich history and commitment to training students to possess critical thinking skills, the Los Angeles Valley College was here to stay. Campus The Los Angeles Valley College campus is located in Valley Glen, California. LA is a city of creativity, diversity and the campus is close to the LA area. Students have the rich nightlife and day attractions of LA mixed with the unbeatable education of the college. At the Valley Glen campus students have a bookstore, computer lab, a networking job club, tutoring programs and a writing center. The college offers career services and transfer courses too.
