About the College
J Boutique College of beauty is a part of the San Diego Beauty Academy. This is a private for-profit school. The main course of study is Cosmetology, Manicuring, Massage, and Holistic. You can get your new career off the ground in less than a year! Fox news even did a story on them when they won Beauty School of the Year Award. They are committed to making the students of their school successful and want to remain in this profession the rest of their lives. They continue to update all their equipment and textbooks so they have the most up to date information for their students and do not steer them wrong.
About the Campus
J Boutique College of Beauty does not offer on campus housing or meals. You can go to student services and they will help you find housing off campus before your school year starts. Many students get a house and share the rent between 3-6 students. This helps many out so they only pay a third of what normal rent would be. There are many meals available for students at some restaurants. They have discount days and some even have free meal days for students. Check them out with student services.
About the Courses
Courses offered are Cosmetology which is a 1600 hour course taught by professional instructors. Advanced Academies, this is a month long course that will educate, inspire, and prepare you for a career in cosmetology. You will meet top artists who will come in and show you hair designs and you will receive your own personal photo shoot of your own creation. Esthetics Training is a 600-hour course that will train you in all the aspects of esthetics including skin, facials, skin, eyebrow arching, and hair removal. Makeup artist is a 150-hour course that is the only other school besides New York and LA that offer a professional make up course at this level.
