About the college

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and at the International School of Cosmetology, ISOC, the beholder can become quite successful. ISOC gives students the skills needed to pass the California State Barbering and Cosmetology exams. The school has become a leader in the beauty industry and has helped graduates become successful as hair stylists, manicurists, make up artists and even beauty salon owners. The training is hands on with a real job atmosphere where students can work in a salon and perform procedures on the community.

Campus

Hawthorne, California is the home for the ISOC. The city of Hawthorne is a large suburb and with California’s great weather and local attractions, students have a creative place to study the beauty field and interact with the community. Having a campus in Hawthorne with a salon built right in gives students the ability to network with the community and produce a rich clientele. Upon graduation, those who are now working in the beauty field have already made a name for themselves.

Courses

Courses at the ISOC offer degrees and certificates in the beauty field. The programs are offered at less than 2 year and less than 1-year degrees. Students can choose from cosmetology and make up artist courses plus a cosmetic service course. The cosmetology courses covers every aspect of beauty including nails, hair and skin care. The make up course covers skin care plus make up techniques. Training in the cosmetic service course can include hair removal and other skin care applications.
