The Galen College of Medical and Dental Assistants provides a quality education for students wishing to enter the medical and dental industry as assistants. The programs offered meet all the needs of students to obtain and develop the skills needed to obtain careers in allied health positions.

Courses

The Galen College of Medical and Dental Assistants offers three programs including medical assistant, dental assistant, and massage therapy.

The Medical Assistant program will prepare students to be able to assistant a physician at entry level. The instructions include theoretical, laboratory, and clinical in administration and clinical office procedures.

The Dental Assistant program prepares students to assistant dentist in an entry level position. The course focuses on the guidelines of the State Board of Dental Examiners for Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants.

The Massage Therapy program prepares students for the multiple styles of massage therapy for entry level position. The student will receive such instructions as theoretical and clinical instruction in general, along with therapeutic massage, Swedish massage, anatomy, kinesiology, spa treatments, body wraps, aromatherapy, stone therapy, reflexology, shiatsu, sports massage, to name a few.

The Galen College of Medical and Dental Assistants offers other services such as job placement assistance, dental RDA Written/Practical Brush Up Courses, Refresher Training, and official sealed transcripts.

Graduates of Galen College of Medical and Dental Assistants are ready to start an entry level career or enroll for further training at a different college. This college offers entry level careers in the health industry for students that wish to work in the field whether as a life long career or a starting point.
