About the college
San Diego Mesa College is successful and the largest college in the San Diego Community College District. Each student is treated as an individual and the programs are of high academic standards. Mesa College offers both academic and vocational programs with associate of arts and science degrees upon completion. The college also has general interest programs as part of its curriculum. Students can even transfer to 4-year universities after using San Diego Mesa College as a stepping-stone to their future. Campus The campus in San Diego, California gives students excellent academic education within a city that breathes culture and diversity. San Diego has beautiful sites with near by beaches, mountains, and deserts with year round nice weather and entertainment around every corner. The campus has a four story learning center that are a staggering 107,000 square feet. Also on campus is a library, student computer lab, classrooms, science labs, athletic complex, and fields for practice and a theatre and fine arts building. Courses There are seven schools at the Mesa College. Students can take courses in American sign languages, animal health technology, fashion, interior design, sociology, speech communications, and a list of other fields of study. Graduates can earn a certificate of performance, certificate of achievement or an associate of science degree. Students can also take online classes for flexible scheduling. Financial accounting, managerial accounting, federal income tax, computer account applications, criminal law, intro to 3D animation, and an extensive list of others can all be taken by computer. At San Diego Mesa College there are programs for every educational and career.
