Elegance International is the world’s first ever makeup school. They specialize in special effects makeup as well as studio makeup and the artistry of the field. The school was established in 1966 and they offer 3 distinctive programs that all explore the inner workings of makeup and what can be created. The school has an online store that sells latex masks, brushes, lipsticks, powders and other high quality makeup products, cosmetics and tools.

Campus

The school of makeup’s finest, Elegance International, is located in Hollywood, California. No place else has a diverse population and the city just screams creativity. The campus is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. The faculty at Elegance International are at the top of their chosen makeup field. They have the experience and intellect to pass on their knowledge to their students. There is an online gallery that showcases the students and their work. At the campus, students have a variety of services available to them. Transportation, a library, student discount for makeup, a student make up store, housing options and career help are available to every student.

Courses

The courses at Elegance International are designed to teach students the fundamentals of makeup. The classes give students the skills needed to use makeup in creative ways fro film, TV and beyond. There are 3 basic programs that include studio makeup artist, SFX (special effects) and the artistry of makeup. The studio makeup artist program teaches skills to work in the beauty industry. SFX gives students skills with prosthetics and body parts and head casting. The artistry of makeup course gives students the skills to work as a fully trained makeup artist in film, runway, and TV.
