About the college

Community Christian College started in 1994 when it was a non-profit organization for the community. They realized that thinking and prayer could be paired together in a learning institution that the entire community could benefit from. One short year later and the approval was granted by the State of California for Community Christian College to operate as a private postsecondary and vocational school. The school is going strong today with faith and religion as its backbone for education and success.

Campus

The college has three locations and a teaching site in Ontario. One campus is located in Redlands, California. This location is home to the main campus in a large city within San Bernardino County. The classes on campus are small which allows for individual concentration by the faculty. The college has courses that are easily transferable to a 4-year university or ones where the skills learned can earn students a productive and rewarding career in the community. Faith is of course in every aspect of academic and student life at the Community Christian College.

Courses

The college is a 2 year college with Christ centered academics. Liberal arts is the study of interest at the college with a religious background. Students can obtain an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with 17 required courses and 3 electives. Some of those include history and literature of the Old Testament, public speaking, math and science courses, psychology, and philosophy. All course lead students to there degree in less than two years.

The Liberal Arts program at the college provokes critical thinking and leadership all within the scope of religion and God. This degree can lead you to a career within religion, government, community or on to a 4-year university to continue your education.
