Cogswell College has been pairing art and engineering for over 100 years. The college is one of a kind with its roots in digital arts, fire science, and engineering. Their programs are creative in nature and follow the teachings and vision of Dr. Henry Cogswell. Their courses offer the best in technology and give students that creative edge to create the unthinkable and unimaginable. Cogswell is a school of innovation and artistic flare. Campus Cogswell Polytechnic College has a campus that is located in one very large building, 65,000 square feet to be exact. Sunnyvale, California is the home for the campus and with California, the creativity flows just as easy as the traffic does after rush hour. The campus is full of free parking and also has easy access to the VTA light rail and bus lines. The campus facility has state of the art equipment where students can work closely with other students and faculty all while fusing their creativity. Students can shoot movies, develop computer software, mix and master soundtracks and a whole lot more. Courses The courses at Cogswell all have an artistic element about them. They offer a digital arts program, engineering program, general education and a fire science program. The digital arts program offers 2 degrees. One being Bachelor of Arts in Digital Art and Animation and Bachelor of Science in Digital Audio Technology. The engineering program offers digital arts engineering plus computer and software engineering. Cogswell’s general education courses focus on written and oral communication, observation, analysis, critical thinking and the basic principles of math and science. The fire science program offers online learning to fire personnel to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in the field.
