About the college

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in this industry the beholder can take their vision, become a graduate in the beauty field and makeover the world. Today the owner of a leader beauty school the Salon Success Academy is Robert Gross, a Bachelor of Science degree graduate and licensed cosmetologist. The college is dedicated to providing low cost education for future graduates in the beauty field. The training at the Salon Success Academy is hands on in a salon environment.

Campus

The salon campus is located in Upland, California. Prospective students can apply for financial aid through Federal Pell Grants. At the salon, the community can get a variety of services done including hair cuts, styles, colors, a complete hair care system called Scruples, skin care and nail procedures. Students can perform various applications with supervision for real hands on training. In addition, they have the opportunity to form relationships for future clientele lists, learn customer service and salon business operations.

Courses

The courses offered at the Salon Success Academy are esthetician, manicuring and cosmetology. The esthetician program teaches the basics of skin care in salons and spas with a 600 clocked hour course. Students will learn make up technique, facials and hair removal. The manicuring program leads students to become nail technologists in only 400 clocked hours. Students learn how to full sets of sculpted nails, fills, tips, pedicures, manicures and sanitation. The cosmetology program is the longest with 1600 clocked hours that focuses on hair design, skin care, manicures and salon management.
