Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science focuses on research and development for the medical field to find the newest and latest medical findings. The college has been around since the 1950’s. The college has expanded a great amount since opening. The college had a goal of helping out the African Americans community because back in the 1950’s and even today with all the racism and discrimination they wanted to be a college to accept anyone and everyone. The college has also had a mission that mission is to carry out education in research, and clinical services to skilled professionals who want to endorse wellness, provide care with distinction, compassion, and also renovate the physical condition of underserved communities.

Campus

Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science offers off campus housing for their students. There are local grocery stores and restaurants nearby to help with any of your needs. The campus offers some student services such as public safety, transportation, parking for the students who drive a bookstore to help students with their books, a lost and found, and also student identification.
