Campus

The campus for the California Hair Design Academy is located at 8011 University Avenue, Suite A-2 in the city of La Mesa. The school is moderately sized and most of the students are female. Admissions to the academy are open to everyone so a classroom with diverse ethnicities are not uncommon at the school. The campus does not offer housing to its students, but its location places it by public transportation for its students to rely on.

Courses

The courses offered at the California Hair Design Academy offer student’s education through many different beauty related classes. The degrees at CHDA are less than 1 year and less than 2 year certificates. This ensures that students can achieve degrees that take no less than one year and no more than two. One year certificates can earn students a certificate as a nail technician, Aesthetician + Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist or Cosmetology, Barber + Styling, and Nail Instructor.

The two year program at the California Hair Design Academy is for a certificate in cosmetology/cosmetologist. This program teaches students hair cuts, trims, styles, nails and manicuring, facial treatments and all other studies of interest in the cosmetology field. Beauty is a growing field with careers available to work in a salon or own one of your own.
