While attending Rosemead future beauty graduates will get the training necessary to impress employers and work in salons state and nationwide. Campus

The campus is located in Rosemead, California with a public salon as its learning center. At the campus, students do not get housing or on site day care facilities, but academic/career counseling and career placement services are offered. Once you graduate there will be someone there to help you with networking, interview skills and resume preparation. Also offered at the campus is a library with numerous reference materials in the cosmetology field. The training at Rosemead is hands on with classroom worked. Once ready students can enter the salon and practice what they have learned on clients with professional supervision. Customer service and salon business operations are also taught.

Courses

The courses offered at the Rosemead learning center and salon is general cosmetology, nail technician, and aesthetician/esthetician. The cosmetology field is a 1600-hour course where students learn the basics of the field with hair, nail, skin, sanitation, and business. With 600 hours, students can take the skin care program and learn skin care anatomy and chemical procedures. The last program is nail technician and it is a 400-hour program with a focus on hand and foot treatments.
