Bay Vista College of Beauty is one of three colleges that make up the San Diego Beauty Academy. The school, which is located in southern California, is dedicated to teaching its students the keys to making people beautiful. The college offers its students many programs ranging from cosmetology and manicuring to careers in Holistic Health. They have programs that are constantly updated and teach students education that will give them the skills for a long-term career. Campus At 1520 Plaza Boulevard in National City, students can find the Bay Vista College of Beauty. Its campus is the only one located in the southern San Diego County. The college actually was remodeled in 2007 to give it the ultimate learning experience with a real world cosmetology look. Students start out in the “freshman room” where they learn the skill to move on to actual clients. This happens when students move to the Clinic to practice what they have learned and work on their marketing skills in a retail area. Courses Courses offered at Bay Vista include cosmetology and cosmetology 102, spa nail technician, makeup artistry and business fundamentals. Each course has professional instructors, state of the ark equipment and the newest and most up to date products available. Speakers even visit the school to give students vital information concerning the field that they chose as a career. Cosmetology courses require 1,600-clocked hours in order to graduate and you do get many hands on training. All the other courses require clocked hours as well and can be combined together for the ultimate experience in beauty education.
