About the college

For over 35 years, the Antioch University has been a part of the Los Angeles area and its educational system. Antioch University Los Angeles, or AULA, is a small university and a non-profit organization. Most students at the university are adults and there is an extreme focus on each person’s potential with the programs at the college. The classes are small, but the focus is on each person’s dedication to their career and advancement. Antioch University is the university with the focus on its student’s success rather than its own personal gain.

Campus

Antioch College is a liberal arts school with its first president as Horace Mann. The campus is under reconstruction to catapult it into the 21st century. The campus offers programs to all of its students that include interdisciplinary academic courses as well as work experiences that are included within the rigorous semesters. The campus is located at 400 Corporate Pointe in Culver City, California and is close enough to the school for learning and just as close to the California nightlife.

Courses

The courses at the Antioch University at Los Angeles offer its students competitive programs to obtain their graduate degree for their future career. Students can achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, a Master of Arts in Psychology, Education or Management or a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.

The learning at Antioch University is one of unique proportions. The college does not use standardized tests. Instead, each student is treated uniquely and not judged solely on their performance on tests. Professors must provide each student with a narrative evaluation of their work as a show of progress in classes.
