About the college
Premiere Career College was founded in 1991 as one of the premium Nursing Schools in Southern California that has specialized training programs that include: vocational nursing, surgical technology, hospital central service technician, medical assisting, financial records, and general office to name a few main majors. Premiere Career College is located in a large suburb, Irwindale, California. They have experienced instructors with more than half MD’s and RN’s. They have real world experience under their belt to teach you better than those without life experience. Within 6 months of graduating, Premiere grads are employed in their chosen field! Employers want Premiere graduates!
About the Campus
Premiere Career College does not have a meal plan and does not offer on campus housing to the students. They do however have a list of the houses and apartments that are available. There are many Host Families that have rooms they rent that include meals. All they ask is that you are present for the meals so they do not waste food. They have open admission and an on campus library. They had 375 students enrolled in 2007with 100% full time and they have a large minority of student population.
About the courses
Premiere Career College is known for the medical administration. The other courses they have handed degrees out in were Medical Support and technology, Nursing and Emergency Medicine, Medical Administration, Office and Administration and Business and Management. They have a financial aid program as well as some other government programs that students can apply for that qualifies. They ask students to come to school 4-6 weeks early to get housing and apply for aid and they will help you with all of it. They will help you with any problems you may have so just ask.
