San Marcos, California is where the campus at Palomar College calls home. Students attending classes at Palomar have athletic programs that include softball, football, and golf and when you sign up for Palomar, you are part of the home of the comets. Students also have a career center to help with their futures, counseling, a transfer center and extended opportunity programs for the community.

Courses

The programs at Palomar College are divided into departments that are arts/business/media/computer science, career/technical/extended education, languages and literature, mathematics/natural/health sciences and social and behavioral sciences. Within these departments, students can focus on a variety of degree programs in whichever career field they have chosen. Students can choose from art design, legal studies, journalism, photography, fire and police academy, trade occupations, foreign languages, dental assisting, nursing and many others. The list is quite extensive and there is something for everyone and every career field.
