About the college
Mueller College of Holistic studies are providing students with the knowledge and skills of western and eastern alternative medicines. Massage and bodywork is becoming more popular and being one of the most effective in healing the body and has been since ancient times. Mueller College was founded in 1976 and at that time, it was the only one who had massage and bodywork programs. Mueller College and one other in California are the only two accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation. The instructors here are experienced in holistic health and they offer hands on supervised practice and you will get the experience from working with the public that many other students do not get in their classes. You can receive your education and be working your own business in as little as 9 months!
About the campus
Choosing to go to Mueller College is a great choice being in the University Heights area of San Diego. You are just north of the San Diego Zoo and balboa Park. There are year round activities in the area being America’s Finest City. You are also right next to the Pacific Ocean so you can enjoy swimming, boating, surfing, and skiing. There is also a free open house twice a year for the public to come and see demonstrations on various alternatives. They do not provide on campus housing or meals.
About the courses
The main major students are taking is therapy and counseling that includes massage therapy and Therapeutic massage. They only offer three main programs, which are Holistic Health Practitioner in Integrated Bodywork, Massage Therapist - Asian Therapies and Massage Therapist - Western Therapies.
