About the college

“Dream It, Be It” is the college motto of Mt. San Antonio College. At this institution, the education is designed to be of the highest quality and be affordable to all. The school was founded in 1946 and is part of California’s extensive list of community colleges. That list includes 109 intuitions and Mt. San Antonio College is one of the largest. The values at the college go beyond technical skills and teach students how to get along in the workplace with positive attitudes and diversity.

Campus

On a 420-acre campus in the San Gabriel Valley students, will Mt. San Antonio College. The school’s campus is located in Walnut, California only 25 miles east of the beautiful city of Los Angeles. The campus offers on site academic support in math and language with a learning assistance center, writing center and tutoring services. Also at the campus is a bookstore, library, online classes and counseling and a variety of food services all within walking distance of your classes.

Courses

The courses at Mt. San Antonio College offer programs that are broken down into various fields of study. Students can choose from art, business, community and non-credit education, humanities/social sciences, natural sciences, learning resources, physical education, and technology/health. Students can work towards certificate programs or take courses online too.

At the school, they offer general education courses that include basic skills, English as a Second Language, an honors program, paralegal program, radio, and television broadcasting, a small business development center and a teacher preparation institute.
