About the college

Victor Valley Beauty College was founded in 1971 to turn students into beauty school graduates. They want their students to be salon ready when the time comes to graduate and with a salon like environment and professionals in the beauty field teaching it is easy to see why Victor Valley Beauty College graduates are in such high demand. Campus

The salon style campus of Victor Valley Beauty College is located in Victorville, California. The campus is 11,287 square feet of administrative offices and separate classrooms all within one building. There is a lab on campus that has modern salon equipment with hands on professional supplies. Each student is provided with a locker, individual workstation, student lounge, video library, photography room, skin care room and dermal scope. Also on the campus is steamer, facial beds, testing room and a trichoanalysis microscope for hair analysis.

Courses

The training at Victor includes reception desk skills that include answering the phone and using the cash register. The school offers one program of beauty interest. That is cosmetology that can lead graduates to careers as a manicurist or cosmetician. The cosmetology course requires 1600-clocked hours for completion. Students learn hair, nails and skin care procedures in this course. The program is broken down into hours for each study. Students also spend time on the business of salon management, resume and employment development.

With Victor Valley Beauty College, graduates gain the skills to pass the California State Board Exam and become a licensed beauty graduate. Graduates then can walk into any salon with confidence, build a clientele and maybe own their own salon one day.
