Courses

The majors offered at FIDM include footwear design, business management, theatre costume design, visual communications and beauty industry merchandising and marketing. Graduates can walk out of FIDM with an associate of arts degree in merchandise marketing or a variety of other programs or a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.

About the college

The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, FIDM, has quite a reputation for training the creative students of the future. The school has been a part of education for over 35 years and for the past 6 years has been part of the hit show Project Runway. Many graduates from FIDM have gone on to TV success on the popular show and the season 5 winner was a 2001 graduate of the fashion institute.

Some of the majors are merchandise marketing, graphic design, textile design, jewelry design and business management.
