About the college

For women beauty makes us feel good. Getting a relaxing massage or our nails done gives us confidence and without Ruth Maurer the Marinello Schools of Beauty may never have been born. Over 100 years ago Ruth created a batch of face cream in her basement for women everywhere that wanted a piece of the fountain of youth. She sold her products worldwide and then in 1905 a decision was made to found the Marinello Schools of Beauty. Today the schools can be found in five states across the US with a total of 41 campus locations.

Campus

In Moreno Valley, California future beauty field representatives can find their stepping stone for a rewarding career in cosmetology. California is home to a diverse culture and a community that looks for the new and bold hair and nail styles and the latest skin care regimens. Students at the Moreno Valley campus get the quality education they need with California attractions, beaches, mountains, and entertainment venues all within a car ride away.

Courses

Marinello School of Beauty offers cosmetology and manicuring programs. The cosmetology programs study hair, nails, sanitation, anatomy and physiology, and client services within a salon. This program requires 1600-clocked hours with hands on salon training. The other program focuses on the barbering aspect of cosmetology and requires 1500 hours for licensing. The manicuring program teaches nail care and art, acrylic nail application, nail diseases and business skills. This program requires 400-clocked hours for a manicurist license.
