Heald College is a private career college that has been helping students get their careers for 145 years. Heald College started out with one Campus in San Francisco in 1863 and has now expanded to 11 other campuses around the western United States. Heald College has a mission and that mission is to prepare students for academic, personal, and professional success in their careers. Heald College has programs that developed skills to last their students a lifetime. Heald College wants to give their students the best so that means students who want to get their bachelor degrees can take their credits from Heald College and use them at other colleges who accept them.
Campus
Heald Campus in Hayward is a 58,000 square foot campus that offers free parking and a shuttle bus for transportation. The classrooms are designed for student to have great comfort. All classrooms have fiber optic data communications and an online database. There is a library and computer labs for students to study in. There is a bookstore right on campus. There is a Student lounge that offers a catering truck and vending machines for students to eat. There is a 1,800 square foot dental lab, a dark room for x-ray development and sterilization and materials lab. The campus offers students hands on training to make sure they are prepared.
Courses
Heald College offers a range of different degrees and certificates that their students can earn. The business programs they offer are Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, Office Skills, Sales and Marketing and Software Technologies. They have different Technology programs such as Network Security, Network Systems Administration. Healthcare Programs they offer are Dental Assistant, Medical Assisting, Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, Medical Office Administration and Pharmacy Technology. The two legal programs they offer are Criminal Justice and Paralegal.
