Hair California Beauty Academy is an off campus training site for Santiago Canyon College. After enrolling in classes at Santiago Canyon College you will attend them at Hair California Beauty Academy. You can learn your profession and also take some courses offered at Santiago College as well. This way you get the best of both worlds. The academy is approximately the academy is approximately 5,000 sq feet of classrooms, clinic areas, student lounge, restrooms, and a supply area. Each student has their own station to perfect their practice.
About the courses
Cosmetology is a 1600 clock hour course and 340 hours is classroom learning. They practice under close supervision. They also offer Instructor training for the cosmetologist who wants to go on to get their instructor license through the California State board of barbering and Cosmetology. The manicuring course is a 400 hour course, which you can complete in 3 months of full time attendance. You can figure on about 75% will be hands on training. The next course is Massage where it will be a 600 hour course. After completion you can hire out or open your own business. Skin care is a 600 class as well. When you graduate you will be a licensed Cosmetician.
