Golden Gate University was founded in 1901 to give working adults a place to further their education with both undergraduate and graduate programs. The classes are designed to put students in real world work environments and prepare them for the competitive workforce. Golden Gate University has a main campus in San Francisco with others operating throughout California and one in Seattle. Courses can even be taken online through a cyber campus. Campus In the San Francisco Bay Area there is a city called Walnut Creek. A campus for Golden Gate University is located there. The mission at GGU is to provide adults with education to enhance their career choices. The classrooms and coursework aid this with business like situations to prepare students for the real world. The degrees are obtained in a short amount of time to graduates where they need to be in the job market. GGU realizes that as adults we have obligations to children, work, family, and friends.
