About the school
College of Information technology or CIT offers computer and Allied medical training programs. Established in 1999 CIT provides the most up to date technology for training as possible. At the start, they were only giving courses relating to the certification process offered by Microsoft but now they have many relationships with other software companies including CompTIA and Cisco. They have gained very high standards as being one of the best-respected and reputable institutes throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties. Their high curriculum properly educates and prepares the student for employment. Campus The campus is 11,000 sq ft. there are three classrooms on the first floor and administration is on the second floor. The remaining buildings surround the main one. Each classroom has approximately 22 students with smaller rooms seating 12. There are separate testing facilities on campus as well. CIT offers free parking for all students and staff. There is no on campus housing or meals provided. You can find many apartments for students and some housing to share with other students and split the cost of rent. You can also speak with the guidance counselor or student support for help in finding housing. Courses The courses offered are computer related and allied health technology as main courses. In 2003, CIT made history by implementing many different courses in the medical field adding to their already extensive course programs. Many bilingual and Spanish speaking individuals were looking for this type of training and couldn’t find it, so CIT started it for them in their native language. This is a milestone for this college and has helped thousands reach their goal. Right now, they have a total enrollment of 287 full time students.
